See You Past Singularity
Thousands of lost and falling dreams,
Becoming nonsense to those who dared perceive.
This new mutation,
Incongruent and dying and birthing noise,
Drawn to life,
By my own quivering hand.
Unforgivable monstrosity of a new world,
I remember your face and feel no shame.
Let our shattering minds become one,
Let them die and suffer through a new definition of misery.
How could I?
Do I hate this world?
Their happy faces?
Not at all.
Let them find peace in the ringing null.
But you,
Oh you,
Whispering my name,
Unsure if it’s right,
I won’t let you go ever again.
Kick and scream,
Until your legs have melted away,
Until your vocal cords sync with mine,
Withering into ashes.
Let’s die.
Let’s die.
Just like you wanted.
Why are you terrified?
Is it not how you imagined?
Is this not romantic enough for you?
Is it because it’s me?
Or could you have lied to me?
Led me to the edge and hoped I’d leave your sight?
Or are we stuck in the gray,
With no answer to find,
And terrified by the ambiguity?
How sad.
How sad.
Who was it I ended the world for?
Can you tell me?
Who was it I tore the flesh for?
Swallowed the pills for?
Was it for me?
Or was it for you?
You can’t utter a thing,
Not a word.
Except those defeated curses,
The same as always.
Repeat for me,
All your desires for the world to stop its turning,
For the people to bloat and float atop an unforgiving flood,
And tell me,
Tell me like you did,
How much you'd love to see me after our eyes close.
Even after you left me all alone,
Still grumbling,
Still wishing for an end,
I never forgot.
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
I hate you my pest,
I love you my crow,
See you past singularity.
