Night Walk
An apple fallin from a tree,
Landin right on my head,
I die from the shock,
Revivin just past 11 o’clock.
Lights nice and bright,
Young bloods sippin bottles and laughin,
Old timers gathered round a car and screamin,
Stench of rotten piss.
Take me to the night.
Hotels abuzz with virgins delights,
Passerby’s luggin their homes on rusty chains,
Wavin and laughin like good friends.
Tip what I got when a year’s worth ain’t enough.
A beer and a laugh,
See you again always means never,
But that story about leopard pants,
I’ll be thinkin about when I’m dead.
Take me
Take me
Take me to the night!
Spare some drink,
Enjoy a talk with another somebody,
Nickel of truth for a quarter of time,
Every second fadin under flickerin light.
Just another hour,
Let the sun rise all it like,
I’ll be enjoyin my time,
No watch at my side.
See you
See you
See you another night.
Let me see that dirty apartment,
That monitor shine to life,
Bustin through every second of nonsense you got for me.
Yeah, I’ll crack a cold one for that.
Do whatever you like,
I’m your slave baby,
But when It’s dark outside,
And your sleepin on your new mattress,
I’ll be far far away.
Take me,
Take me,
Take me to the night!
